Idyllic

This is a font I created and it is named Idyllic. Idyllic the font was project in my Typography class. I spent the majority of the semester on this font. I learned a new program called GlyphsMini and it absolutely clicked with me right away.

To be 100% honest, I named the font "Idyllic" because at the time I was reading "The Idylls of the King" in another class. It was created with folk albums and forest poems in mind.

Above I am showcasing my uppercase and lowercase glyphs of the font design. ALong with the upper and lower case, I made many symbols so that the font can be useable in a writing context. I also designed standard and discretionary ligatures as a secondary part of the project.
